Why God? and Why, God?
Sensible answers to existential questions from author Ron Clouzet.
Have you ever wondered about God? You likely have. If you are a Christian, you've wondered why God doesn't seem to answer important prayers or why some people suffer so much. If you are not a Christian, you've wondered about the possibility of a caring God or about whether there is something transcendent that is bigger than the Universe itself.
The book's title hints at two separate sets of questions: Why God? is about whether He can be known or is the originator of life. Why, God? (with a comma) is about what kind of God would do certain things or permit them. This book attempts to deal with both sets of concerns. It refers to history, science, philosophy, archaeology, right along many teachings of Scripture, in order to find answers to some God questions. This is not a technical treatise nor a set of religious pronouncements. This is a search for sensible answers.
